This policy describes how JamBox (“JamBox”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use jambox.site and our applications, including Boardhood and Sharelog. It is written for people, not only for lawyers. Sharelog has an additional, app-specific policy at https://jambox.site/apps/sharelog/privacy.

This website
jambox.site is a public organization website. We do not require an account to read it. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) may be processed by our hosting provider to operate, secure, and understand traffic to the site. We do not sell website visitor data.
Boardhood and other JamBox apps
When you download and use a JamBox application, we may collect information such as your device’s IP address, pages or screens you visit, time spent, operating system, and — where you choose to create an account — identifiers you provide such as email and user ID. Boardhood also uses device location to power nearby rooms, maps, and related recommendations. Sharelog does not use an account or cloud backup: links, notes, and categories stay on your device, as explained at https://jambox.site/apps/sharelog/privacy. We do not use our apps to knowingly solicit data from children under 13.
How we use information
We use information to provide the product you asked for, to keep accounts secure, to send service notices, to understand aggregated usage so we can improve the apps, and to respond when you contact us. Location in Boardhood is used for geolocation features, anonymized analytics, and, at times, transmission of anonymized location data to service providers who help us operate the app.
Third-party services
Our applications may use third-party infrastructure that has its own privacy policies, including Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or to trusted processors who may only use the data to provide services to JamBox.
Retention, access, and deletion
We keep account data while you use the app and for a reasonable period afterward. To request deletion of information you provided, email jaminthebox1226@gmail.com. You can also stop further collection from an app by uninstalling it.
Children
JamBox apps are not directed at children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it. Parents or guardians may contact us at the email above.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version will always be posted at jambox.site/privacy. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
